All Project Record Books are due to the 4-H office by Friday, January 4th. There will be no exceptions; all record books will be traded with a neighboring county for judging. All those submitting a project record book will be recognized at the 2008 Achievement Night!

4-H is For You! 4-H is a fun and educational program for children ages 5-18. The 4-H program is the youth component of the N.C. Cooperative Extension, that is dedicated to helping boys and girls develop life skills needed to be contributing members of their communities. Children of all racial, cultural, economic and social backgrounds are welcome to participate in 4-H educational programs. 4-H is open to all kids – you do not have to live on a farm to enjoy 4-H opportunities!

Camp for Christmas!
Yes, the holidays are around the corner and what better time than now to purchase a gift for your child; a trip to 4-H Camp. Next year Surry County 4-H is going to Millstone 4-H Camp nestled in the tall pines of the Sandhills near Ellerbe, NC about 30 miles south of Southern Pines.
Mark your calendars today – camp will be the week of June 29 through July 4.
Camp is open for youth between the ages of 8 & 12. Reserve your spot today with a $100 deposit and a filled out 4-H enrollment form. Camp costs = $295.00 this includes lodging, meals, all activities, camp store card, and camp t-shirt.
Deadline for registering and receipt of half of total cost must be received by January 28.
