4-H is For You! 4-H is a fun and educational program for children ages 5-18. The 4-H program is the youth component of the N.C. Cooperative Extension, that is dedicated to helping boys and girls develop life skills needed to be contributing members of their communities. Children of all racial, cultural, economic and social backgrounds are welcome to participate in 4-H educational programs. 4-H is open to all kids – you do not have to live on a farm to enjoy 4-H opportunities!

Inspire a Future Scientist
Please VOTE for North Carolina 4-H member Chase Lewis in his quest to win the 4-H/Hughes Net "Inspire a Future Scientist" video contest. Chase is one of 10 national finalists. The grand prize winner wins $1,000 and a trip to 4-H National Youth Science Day in Washington. You can vote once a day from each electronic device you have. Voting runs for three weeks (July 14-August 1).

It's that time again, as we prepare for fall the N.C. Cooperative Extension office will be hosting its 9th Annual Celebration of Agriculture. Activities include: food, tractor displays, 4-H Kids Area with games for kids of all ages, live animals, hands-on activities, beekeepers, master gardeners, and much more!
